When will my new puppy or kitten be old enough to train?
Generally speaking, puppies and kittens must
be at least 8 weeks-old, have lived in their new
home for at least one week, and weigh enough

I live on a lake. Can I use Invisible Fence® to keep my dog home, but also let him swim?
To the delight of hundreds of water dogs, we’ve installed systems in just about every lake in South Louisiana. Designs can allow access to lake and dock, yet prevent your dog from swimming away or using the beach to access your neighbor.

Is the electric wire safe to put in yards with children?
Absolutely. The wire carries a radio

you break the wire accidentally while

Does the system interfere with radios, TVs, garage-door openers, heart pacemakers?

Will the Invisible Fence® Brand pet containment system keep other dogs out of a “protected property?”

Like traditional fences, there is no guarantee that an animal may not wander onto your property if determined to do so. Although we can’t guarantee that other dogs will stay away from yards with the system, we believe each pet owner should take responsibility for his/her own dogs.
Since you can’t see the Invisible Fence® Brand solution, could people become frightened when they see a “loose” dog?
Your Invisible Fence® Brand pet expert provides yard signs for pet owners to inform their neighbors and strangers that the dog is safely contained. To further avoid these situations, some pet owners have limited the installation to their backyard, away from the street or driveway.
